Bryan Kane, partners with the Beattys in the Howell Mountain Vineyards project, has made the wine since 2010. From a tech executive background, Bryan grew into winemaking by working with some of California’s most recognized talents. He was recognized as one of the “Next Generation of Cult Winemakers” by Somm Journal and Winemaker of the Year by American Fine Wine Competition, and employs a philosophy of “making wine in the field”  which complements the Beattys’ philosophy. In addition to his winemaking role with HMV, Bryan also produces wine for his brands Sol Rouge and Vie Wines, as well as recently opening a restaurant in Lakeport called On the Waterfront.
